Day 1: Quito

Day 2: Quito
Explore bustling streets and plazas in the largest colonial old town of the Americas. We visit some of the most emblematic churches, including La Compañía and San Francisco, repositories of a fascinating multi-ethnic, cultural and artistic heritage. We end on a view point for impressive views of the old and new sections of town.
Approximately 11 miles (18 Kms.) north of Quito, we visit Mitad del Mundo, a historical site celebrating the French Geodesic Mission to accurately measure the Equator, where you will also find replicas of colonial architecture, including a typical central plaza, a church and bull-fighting ring. The Equatorial Monument situated at 0º0’0” latitude and the Intiñan Solar Museum with physics displays and an extensive anthropological permanent exhibit are also highlights of the complex. Day 3-6: Galapagos, “a living museum and sample of evolution.”
All-included Galapagos Cruise on board the M/VGalapagos Legend or M/Y Corals: Local roundtrip air tickets to Galápagos. Roundtrip transfers hotel - airport and airport - dock (shared service).
Visit the Enchanted Isles like Darwin in 1835 for the best Natural History show on Earth. Only a selected few ever reach this Paradise, on board a lovely vessel with bronze and wood interiors and ample outdoor decks. Enjoy whirlpool, swimming pool, solarium and open-air bar facilities and fully equipped cabins with air-conditioning and panoramic sea-view windows.
See prehistoric iguanas, giant tortoises, exotic birds, plants and beautiful landscapes of volcanoes, lava cones and magma flows. Swim and snorkel any time of year in the warm clear waters and colorful beaches among tropical fish, manta rays, sea lions, swordfish, sea turtles and other marine wildlife. Multilingual naturalist guides lead shore excursions twice daily and lectures explaining the geology, history, evolution, botany and biology of the Islands are provided in several languages. A fine selection of meals will delight you, from buffet breakfasts to gourmet dinners, ice cream festivals, and evening barbecues.
Day 6: Galapagos to Quito or Guayaquil – Lima
Flight back to Quito or to Guayaquil

Day 7: Lima
City tour of colonial old town and modern Lima including visits to the Government Palace, Town hall, Cathedral, Monastery of San Francisco, the most spectacular of Lima’s colonial-era churches. Limas’s cuisine is considered as one of the world’s best and most diverse. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Lima – Cuzco
City tour of Cuzco that includes the main square, the Cathedral, its extremely sober renaissance façade contrast with the baroque and plateresque style of its interior, and Koricancha, a famous temple dedicated to the sun. Then visit to the nearby remains: Kenko, ancient ceremonial center dedicated to the earth, Puca Pucara, administrative and military center, Tammbomachay, important place of worship dedicated to the water, and Sacsayhuaman, a cyclopean fortress built for the defense of Cuzco. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Cuzco-Machu Picchu-Cuzco
Depart Cuzco with train Vistadome (time and departure train station might change, it is subject to availability when doing the reservations). Arrive in Aguas Calientes station and transfer to Machu Picchu by bus.
Guided visit of the citadel which is totally built of stone blocks, fitted with masterful precision. This fabulous city has houses, temples, warehouses, a large central square, all connected by narrow roads and steps. Lunch at a restaurant next to the citadel.
Depart Aguas Calientes with train (time and departure train station might change, it is subject to availability when doing the reservations). Overnight at hotel
Day 10:
Transfer out.
